11. Appendices

The appendices provide supporting material for users, administrators, and reviewers. The detailed technical configuration should always be checked against the current platform configuration and the JSON anonymization rules available through the interface.

  • Appendix A – Current anonymization profiles and DICOM tag rules. The full list of DICOM tags and clinical metadata fields to keep, remove, clear, replace, or pseudonymize is maintained in the active JSON profile configuration (light.json, default.json, and strict.json). Users can review the selected profile using the View Rules link in the anonymization interface.
  • Appendix B – Clinical data template. The current ZODIAC clinical data template defines the expected clinical columns. Required matching fields include Patient_ID and Study_ID. The same Study_ID may be used for different patients, because matching is based on Patient_ID + Study_ID.
  • Appendix C – Example anonymization and upload logs. Example logs show the anonymization profile used, processed DICOM files, skipped files, clinical data processing, archive preflight checks, conflict handling, and upload results. These logs can be downloaded locally for institute review and audit records.
  • Appendix D – Example screenshots from the browser anonymizer and upload interface. Screenshots illustrate the local anonymization panel, upload panel, scan results, conflict handling, upload logs, and archive item review. Screenshots should be updated when the interface or log wording changes.
  • Appendix E – Support and issue reporting. Participating institutes should contact the ZODIAC support or platform administration team for questions related to anonymization profiles, clinical data templates, upload issues, viewer access, or archive permissions.
